Global Dairy Trade regularly reviews the number of bidders qualified to purchase dairy products on GDT Events. Continued registration requires a bidder to have actively participated in an auction within the last 18 months, as set out in the GDT Trading Event Rules, part A 1.6 and 5.2.
GDT has identified 110 bidders that haven’t met these requirements and has closed their accounts, resulting in a pool of 510 qualified bidders for Trading Event 175 on 1st November 2016.
This process does not prevent genuine buyers from bringing demand to the platform, and any bidders who have been removed are welcome to re-apply if they have a genuine intent to purchase.
